MY LITTLE BUSY BEE

Noel is a little over 8 1/2 months old! She is busy crawling around the house and getting into everything imaginable. It's amazing what they find. I told Todd if you ever hear her make the slightest "gagging" sound, she has probably found something icky to put in her mouth. She started crawling at 7 months and 11 days - and she seems pretty close to walking already. She's pretty stable, but thinks she needs to hold onto something - if you let go of her, she'll reach for whatever's closest, or slink to the ground. But sometimes, when she's distracted playing with something she has discovered, I'll catch her standing there without support for a bit. She has two bottom teeth and one top tooth just broke through yesterday! She is so super funny - she growls at us constantly and when she's not growling, she sticks her tongue in and out and makes "turkey" sounds. We also think she is going to be an acrobat of somekind - she constantly arches her back (in tantrums, in playtime, when hanging upside down) she's surprisingly flexible. And she LOVES the commercial for the Marinello Schools of Beauty. I don't know why, but it's the one where people are dancing and holding up a sign. She stops whatever she is doing and bounces to the music. Her hair is turning light brown and it's still super thin and whispy, although it's thickening out a bit. She just started saying "mama" and will say it when she is crawling around looking for me or when she just wakes up and is still in her crib.

NEW NEWS: We just found out we are having a baby boy! I am 17 weeks pregnant and doing well! I've been feeling him move for a couple of weeks now, which is totally unexpected since you don't usually feel them until 16 weeks or later (I didn't with Noel until 18 weeks). The technician told me the placenta is attached at the back of the uterus, so there is no barrier to keep me from feeling the kicks - and boy, is he a mover!!!

Todd is coaching Lacrosse at Bingham High and they are doing really well! He is really proud of them and thinks they could take the championships this year! We hope they do!!!

Noel 6 Month Pictures

My little baby cakes is now 7 months old, but these were taken when she was 6 months old! They are so darling! Some of them need to be edited still. My good friend that takes them lost her camera in Hawaii, so she borrowed one that just isn't the same (according to her - I still

think they are darling).

Noel is into EVERYTHING already! She has super quick hands and I need to watch her constantly! She is going to start crawling any day now - she takes a couple steps with her hands, and bounces her legs forward a little, but she is not really moving them. If she sees something she wants, she DIVES for it! You have to be totally on guard with this one! If she's being held and can't get to it, she holds out her hands, squeezes and un-squeezes them, and grunts until she gets it. "I want, I want, I want"

She makes all kinds of sounds, and has said "mama" a few times, but never toward me, so I think it's just babble. No "dada" yet.

Daddy is still her very most favorite person in the world (besides our dog Wyatt). She starts giggling as soon as she sees him because she knows he is going to do some silly face or make some silly sound or toss her in the air. She loves him so much!

Our dog Wyatt also gets the Royal treatment! Her face lights up as soon as she sees him and she starts bouncing and squealing! She loves to attack him and bury her face in his fur! Thank goodness he is a gentle dog and doesn't seem to mind all her tugging and poking!

She absolutely loves real food and wants to try everything we are eating! She has two bottom front teeth and seems to be teething again!

Noel is a super happy baby and is always squealing and giggling! She laughs with a "snort" and sometimes gives us the cheesiest nerdiest grins!

She holds her balance really well and can support herself standing up by herself as long as she is holding onto something!

She loves having play dates with her two best friends Kate and Riley and she LOVES her grandparents and aunts! (Right now, she is making "fart" sounds while sucking on my arm!) She thinks that is super funny!

I am feeling much better now! I think my morning sickness is just about gone and I have my energy back which makes all the difference in the world! We are super excited to find out what our next baby will be! They won't even be 14 months apart! :)

We have a Tooth!!!
